This top end kit features the following std bore 76 mm:
1. 2 twin ring moly coated hard anodized crown style pistons Hyper Eutectic with the lube/cooling ports as is oem, 2 rings per piston, circlips and piston pins.
2. Full 582 overhaul gasket and seal kit as shown.
These kits are design to and will replace your oem parts perfectly. A/P A/I used and recommended. Hypereutectic pistons are made of an aluminum alloy which has much more silicon present than in soluble in aluminum at the operating temperature. Hypereutectic aluminum has a lower coefficient of thermal expansion, which allows engine designers to specify much tighter tolerances. NOTE We carry sets for any oversize bore. .010, .020". 1st and 2nd oversize are available plus Rotax 277 377 447 503 532 464 521 582 piston kits.
Hard crown keeps the heat up top away from the bottom end n bearings.
Moly coating stops cold seizures, run cooler and less friction than non-coated.
